A long time ago I used to be very active on this forum as a young lad fascinated with silent walk

I wanted to create an impossible game with Silent Walk 2, Ambitious goals such as
-In-Game scripted events
-Destroy able environments
-Particle effects
-Dynamic settings and maps
-Fully Voice acted
-Story line
-Friendly NPCs
-Drive vehicles
-Fine detail
-Logic Puzzles

All by using trickery with the editor

After finding the files again I thought it be nice to upload what i had to this dead forum if anyone gives a hoot.
I could go into more detail but it's 4am and I'll be updating this post in the future.

The main point is I have compiled all that was created, the beginning sequence along with the opening map, and a motorcycle riding prototype

And a secret if you can find it :lol:

Hey, I gave it a try and the train looks rad, but I was honestly very confused as to what to do. I was able to open and close a door but not much else. Either way it looked pretty cool.

Heya! Thanks for checkin it out!

You see the train, is more of a plane actually :lol: . In the final product there would have been some type of opening cinematic of helicopters flying over a city, then the player is prompted to jump.

Anyways, try jumping out and looking down to watch yourself fall into the first (and only) area of the game.

Hey again, gave it a try and it worked! Got to the main area and it was pretty rad what you had so far. It reminded me of the first level of Duke Nukem before you enter the cinema. If you ever returned to the project, a lot of us would either place exactly where the player spawns so they pick it up right away and don't see a floating arm graphic, or we would make the weapon model be the ground version way above the hud version and when you adjust how it will look on the player you just make them see the hud version while the ground version is off screen.

Otherwise nice work, it's cool to see a Silent Walk project after all these years, even if it was just a demo :D

I really liked everything going on there, though it was a little tough to land outside and get the gun without getting obliterated by the junkbots from way up the street :P
