i have decided to come out with "taking over green edition" and try to keep this game as basic as possible and EXTREMELY intense...it's survival of the fittest.
battle your way through numerous enemies including "head hunters" that signal other enemies of where your whereabouts are on the map:) there are 3 motherships to battle your way through
EDIT:
download link...fullscreen and windowed version in one folder
http://www.mediafire.com/?jnxzmrw0mwm
you start off with..
a superfast weapon called XTERM
5000 ammo
2000 life (trust me you're going to need it)
and mega jump..
screenshots:
and soon there will be taking over red edition, yellow edition, blue edition, black edition, and golden edition.
please enjoy my fellow silent walkers8) |

yeah kinda gotta know where to go on this one..i like using the "hail mary" tactic lol..flank them! haha..there's a secret corridor where you can post up and all the enemies come in by the bunches..you can keep piling them n piling them on top of eachother lol..it's a beautiful sight really..lol oh yeah the exit point of the game is on the other side of the 3rd mother ship..th ONLY place where it isn't green lol |

the only thing i find that needs fixed is the enemies gravity..some of them float a couple of stories high and when you destroy them they die in mid air..if i can some how get them to come crashing down after defeat this game would be even more awesome lol |

I know a way u could get enemies to float in the air and crash down when they die
U just animate the enemy above ground and death animation has it falling to the ground.
Easy |

they are animated with basic movements..
attack
fly
and die..
if they are flat on the ground they would fall over on the ground..but some of them go over the blocks in the terrain and stay afloat as they're coming towards the player making them appear to be flying..which is cool until you kill them..they fall over in mid air lol
maybe i should animate them to explode or disappear? lol |

its a nice idea i agree.
I cud help u make it better
Zoltan is makeing sw2 better and better faster than i can keep up with.
Lots of bugs hav been fixed and the grav thing is a major one.
So lets hope....
4 now make an explosion anim. So all explods. I know how u can do that but its tricky.
U need 2 models saved as one enemy, the actual enemy is 1 model the explosion is another.the die anim will replace the enemy body with the explosion model. That is; drag the enemy body way below 000[xyz] and raise the explosion above 000[first frame small explsion model]. U'll hav to assign joints to key parts of the explosion model so u can scale the explosion bigger[before last frame] until it dissapears(in the last frame drag it below 000)
And tadaaa!

ur a genius..pure genius ..lol..i still have that model you sent me with the animation..and i took a look at it in pacemaker to seen how you did it..genius really
BUT! the gravity thing is a real big issue for your method of animation..if an enemy walks up a terrain with images below them you would be able to see that if they were to walk in mid air..revieling ur secret lol..we should wait til zoltan fixes it
if you want in on this project im up for it i'll give you credits too haha..let me know |
