Ok so i've downloaded the latest 1.3 version.
Realy nice additions, but there are still some bugs. :(

Here's a list of the problems i still have / found (with screenshot).

    That fence texture i showed you still dissapears at a certain range.

    The jumping over the wall is still here (default settings).

    The light flickering option dosn't work.

    The texture alpha still has edges where there should be none.

    And the static models don't apply (ignore light) settings.

Can you send me your project or a small part of it, which includes these bugs?


EDIT:
The "ignore lights" option is missing from all kinds of objects. :(

Flickering light needs a random value eg: 100, what is your value? (Have you seen the TorchTest project, it is using this option)

The jumping over walls can be corrected by setting the player's radius in the player settings. Since the player is now user defined, it should be set also to avoid bugs like this.
Set a higher number for the radius eg.: 8.

Alpha texture bug... is it a png or jpg texture?

Hmm strage that ignore lights isn't working properly :|

The flickering valeu was 8 and flickering option enabled. edit: hmm probably a to small number... it works nvm this one then :oops:
Yes it solve's to change the jump power / height etc, but i thought by default it shouldn't be possible.. lol.. ohwell :P

OK, thanks.

The flickering value should be higher than 10. The next version will have a default value.
It works like this:
If a random value of (VALUE) is smaller than 10 then there is a flick.
So the higher the value, the less the flicks.

I've also tested the Alpha bug with a PNG texture, but it worked fine for me. Hm.

ok i sended the project files to your PM.

The flickering works now, but is there a way to make it a bit smoother.. like fade in fade out?
or perhaps something to make the lights off a bit longer, then just a quick flicker.


Also i've noticed that the light range (outdoor flicker light) is set to 20... but i can see the light changing all the way to the end of the building :|

Thanks, I am checking.

In the next version I'll add some new parameters to the flickering option. You'll be able to set the COLOR, RANGE and LENGTH (steps) of the Flickering light.
