:cry: omg, it seems that the Megakerma object sizes and the models i create in 3ds max, are in conflict.
To be more specific, the texture is being screwed up.

I can only render a low resolution / no tilling, uvmap for it.... :(

So i'm wondering what to do now ...
Perhaps a hybrid of the two?, i realy don't know anymore.. :|

so yeh?
i don't know if you guys can live with this.

I use Blender for modeling. I have used 3ds max and blender. Now I only use blender. Blender 100% sufficient to MegaKerma Engine.

Do's that also include the texturing issues i have at this moment?

wow 3rd post :oops:

anyway i was thinking about my game, it seems i can't render properly using default bitmaps (tiled) etc.
so i'm now creating all materials in the 3d modeler itself... and it seems that works fine...

Now i'm struggeling with edge padding to get rid of these black (comic like) lines ..
I've made some progress though, and probably found a way to fix that...

Also the storyline of this game is going to be changed enormously :mrgreen:
So yeh, i'm thinking levels as i go, but i finaly made up my mind about how to start the game...

You will need to rescue the last surviving prisoner (inocent).
because there is corruption across nation enforcements.

Looks awesome bro! The hallway at the end of the video is a little bare, but the rest is just awesome! :D

By the way this reminds me a lot of the planes of oblivion from The Elder Scrolls Oblivion!

:D thx guys, my first objective is to build the level contours (video), then i add in detail... (not in the video).
And then it's of to scripting + sounds etc.
Stay tuned though, a demo is not far away :)

Ok so i've decided to stay low on the radar with my project,
to keep it a suprise when a demo comes out :roll:

From time to time i will post new model screenshots that will be used in the game...

Also i believe i've found a way (still got to test it) to export Highres textures with the models, so it won't look so blurred / stretched. :D

Omg, how could i've been so stupid. :shock:

I finaly figured it out why my textures where so weird and all... :!:
Wrong uvmapping id's and unwrapping id's no switching id's, texture baking with wrong id's, etc... to much to say..
But i finaly got it.. :)

here's the (sort of) finished house... :oops:
Still got to adjust the shadow parameters etc.

i'm preparing some more models for my game, buildings / big models will have HDish quality textures...
Small models and decal stuff will have normal quality textures... (to even them out)...

But for now
The world will shiver... the world will shake... (hahaha a hardcore lyric :wink: )

well the engine lacks a few things i realy need, also i've been busy with some other stuff..
mainly youtube..

So basicly NO... i realy want to make this game, but like i said i have some problems with the current engine, and so i'm forced to stop this project untill "hopefully" zoltan uses his newly purchased engine thingy...

I haven't been online here much (busy with other stuff), but i wanted to notify you all that this game has stopped...
mainly because my pc crashed several times in the past time...(so i lost the files)
(Custom computer builders fault)

anyway, i'm making a new game which is being made in MegaKerma.
But it's far from a demo or screeny's....
It will come, i just don't have a estimated time.
