Project: 2017 'StarFox' clone game w/ points scoring, possibly curency based upgrade purchasing(new vehicle, new guns, new specials, & new levels)

I am Making a Starfox clone game, it may be a water based game as the level I currently have looks amazing with the player/camera speeding across moving water(animated water .gif file large scale set as texture on large flat object cubes with semi transparency)...with the skybox seemingly meeting the waters edge at horizon line(atleast in appearance) the levels construction is fairly simple and not cpu costing( I will copy each premade level and make minor adjustments for lvl.2, lvl.3 etc...I am also adding barriers(barrier image on .png transparent backed image file) and invisible walls on both left and right to keep player from falling off platform( which is currently based off Zoltan's moveable platform demo only with a long distance between points and a faster speed added as well as widened platform)

I am rethinking this as the camera being moved while strafing left or right will cause player to go diagonal and still fall off the platform, My possible solution is creating a large prefab model of an introverted half sphere and using this as the moveable platform with player starting in center and unable to step beyond the highest part of half sphere i.e. player wont fall off( hoper this works!!)

my next challenge is emulating the stafrox style camera whereas the player can not turn too far left or right as well as up and down. I would like to see if I can edit the ladder script for this effect and makethe whole level a zone with the ladder effect...Im not too sure at this point but still working it out. I will post a video and screens of the progress so far!

and Zoltan, thank you for creating the awesome Silent Walk gam dev. programs, your a freakin genius!

Update:
I'm adding a lens flare effect that will move and possibly rotate to appear realistic.

Lens Flare test 1:

I can post a video, right now I have it moving at the same speed as the player but slowing panning off to right, it looks okay but its not the full effect I want.

Some videos of the concept. I was able to prevent the player from walking off the platform by adding 4 small moving platforms on each side and lowering the player step height to .2 now you can just strafe, turn, move slightly forward and backward.

No, lock the mouse in Silent Walk Renaissance
The scripting is a little difference so using "LOCKMOUSEY 1" (for example) won't work in silent walk
I think it would look like "lock_mouse_y(1);" or set_mouse_lock. Idk!
Or even adjusting mouse sensitivity and setting it to zero would work(maybe) but I don't know the script for that either

I'm moving this project to a new engine as there is no support for SW Renaissance and the developer of the software is MIA so any questions I have remain unanswered( this may be why its called "Silent" walk lol). I have found a few less than demanding engines that utilize LUA or C++ languages and those are the most appropriate choices at this time.
