So I'm almost done with the first level in my retry of making AIEC and i got a public domain siren sound off pdsounds.com.I lowered the pitch in audacity, exported it as .wav then converted it to .mp3 with foxtab. I set the siren as the background music, but when i exported the game to test the first level it doesn't work right. For a split second everything is fine but then it acts like i set the sound to an invisible object instead of the background music (when i move closer to an area it gets loud but when i move away it gets quieter). Can someone tell me what the heck is going on? I have a song i made that went through the same process but it works fine, so this is really getting on my nerves. Also i made sure i only had .mp3 files in the musics folder.

Like you said, it sounds like you've got music set as a sound effect or something. Weird. Maybe double check all the objects to make sure you haven't?

Yeah, I'm sure i didnt set the siren to an object, i dont have a clue why this would be happening :? ....... i retried everything from scratch, including deleting the sound and the .mp3 then redownloading the original sound off pbsounds.com..... You don't happen to have a siren sound effect do you?
